  • complete a few questions about how working in Australia will benefit themselves and Australia. (Specifically, the main area that the Australian High Commission has a concern with,

    • is with job competition between Australia's own ICT Professionals and the Sponsee, unless there's a skills shortage within the Australian market.);
    and

  • an application fee - equivalent to $240 ($185 + $55 is non-refundable) in either a money order or cheque, addressed to the Commonwealth of Australia.

    It is advised that all documents be sent Registered Mail / Recorded Delivery due to the security offered. The visa application process usually takes (from start to finish) six to eight weeks before visa's are finalised. When Scott Merrick Associates
